A new journey, a new beginning

This is a wedding invitation specially designed for two clients who love to travel. It is designed to look like a parcel to introduce viewers the idea of travelling. Instead of using an envelope for the invitations, a map is used instead to wrap the "package" and a cotton string is also used to tie the package together. This map, showing the location of the wedding, is to encourage the guests to explore the area arouond the wedding venue so that they can have a taste of travelling by taking a small trip themselves. The color, pink, and simple lines are used to make it feminine and chic. However, the slightly ancient looking stamps and aged texture allow the mood of the whole project to remain down to earth at the same time.

When the "package" is opened, it reveals the two "postcards". One of which is the invitation for wedding reception and the other is the invitation for the wedding ceremony. A bold electric red is used for the cover of the wedding reception invitation to symbolize the passion between the two clients however, a contrasting white is used on the reverse side to represent the pureness of their love. The same color theme was used on the wedding ceremony invitation.

This whole design is done to invite viewers to join the two clients as they begin a new journey and start a new chapter in life.
