This project was for a digital photography class. The concept derives from my belief that the drum is an instrument of communication that all human beings understand.
Models were asked to interact naturally with the drum. The only influence I had was in the setup of the room; the ambiance and lighting created an intimate environment.
The photo-shoot took place in Tunis, Tunisia. The drum being used is the Tunisian darbuka.
