The boardroom is an area where the director wanted to create a real impression. I used a combination of raw Revit renders and photoshop to produce initial ideas about how the space could feel. Using photoshop, I integrated my own flooring design using tiles from Interface Flooring which I belive gave the space a more dynamic and characterful impression. The original building was converted to an office from a 1930s RAF hospital wing, and so the geometry in the flooring pattern was inspired by the original parquet floor. See image below.
