I had a few points of inspiration for my sea serpent. I liked the style of chinese dragons so i attempted to model the facial features from that. But the scales I thought stayed very true to the whole sea serpent idea.

The use of the tablet with the pen for creating the monster was a tremendous help for making some of the features more “natural” looking (vs. looking like shapes and too blocky). I was able to create individual features that looked unique every time. Plus is was really cool and fun to use the Wacom tablet.

If this technology did not exist, the whole project would have taken much longer to complete because with a mouse, I probably wouldn’t have been able to go as fast on making the cool features of it.

And finally, I’m not %100 satisfied with my work here. I wish I would’ve had more time and honestly I think I could’ve done better. This is what I have to show for the time I had, and all things considered, it certainly could’ve been worse.
