Back in 2011 we worked with French creative Xavier Barrade to create these jaw-dropping 3D papercraft posters for UK folk band Dry The River. The flat, poster component was beautifully screen printed by Bob Eight Pop in East London, and the paper horse structures were designed by Xavier in 3D using Google Sketch Up, before being printed out in their component parts and hand-assembled. Each horse structure took around 35 hours to complete. You can see a time-lapse sequence of Xavier building one in the short film we made to document the project:
The project achieved widespread coverage in the art, design, creative and music press, and the Dry the River official video shot up from 10,000 views to 256,000 views as a result of the publicity caused by the campaign.
