Founded in 2003 by two sisters Allen Rutisha and Sufficient Kiconco who were inspired by high volumes of uncollected garbage in Kampala and surrounding areas, Just Clean It was formed with an initial investment of UGX 500,000(US$ 200 at current exchange rates) in 2003.
Just Clean it was originally trading under Rwene Cleaners and has since been operating in Solid Waste Management, fumigation and domestic cleaning services.
