It’s a pleasure for me to be a Puerto Rican that fights against the idea of leaving my beloved Island. The last years have been very complicated, a lot of issues have fogged our happiness — financial, political, climatological, and educational problems have been breaking our spirits. Many of our friends and family have left this paradise.
 

A few weeks ago, playing with a periodic table, I found something very interesting. Something so powerful that it had me writing in English, even though it’s so hard for me that I’ll use emoticons just to avoid typos. After playing with the idea of finding more Au and Ag to fill my pockets, I found that element 82 (Pb) had an amazing potential to change the course of our history, local and global.
 

During the upcoming Holiday season, the community will begin to raise their voice against the people who shoot their guns up in the air. It’s a law of nature that everything that goes up must come down, and bullets are no exception. In the street people call bullets “Plomo” (Spanish word for the element Lead) and after re-reading the English word a few times, I realized that this year we could swap the LEAD from the bullets to the LEAD of moving foward.

Now is the perfect time to raise our voices and demand for the right amount of element 82 in our communities, families and professional environments. It’s time to copy, paste and share the idea of cultivating leadership and progressive vision amongst our people.
