Designia (Freelance webdesigner Michiel Nagtegaal) was asked by Michael Klein, owner of webshop Goedkopermetled.nl, to design a webshop that would be a solid basis for several 'Goedkopermet' webshops.
The existing webshop Goedkopermetled.nl sells led lighting equipment. 'Goedkoper met' is translated in English to: 'Cheaper with' and refers to lower prices but in the case of Goedkopermetled, also to a more green and enviroment friendly alternative to regular lighting.
Designia designed the webshop with unkown future products in mind. Therefor the webshop design needed to be modular and should be easily extended.
