This project is based around the comparison between both handmade and digital processes. I chose to do this both because craft is something that I am very interested in and I also wanted to work towards understanding the role that it could have within my own work as well as the industry in general.

The outcomes of this were a set of framed images and a matching book containing some of my research to be presented alongside it. The idea behind the framed pieces was to demonstrate the differences between "man and machine". Each of these have their place in design and I wanted to embrace the imperfections of the handmade and juxtapose this with the straight and rigid pattern of the digital print.
