The Last Source is a side-scrolling shoot em' up done in 48 hours for Indie Speed Run. The themes given to us were "Justice" and "Stork".

 

The game centers around the Stork and its pilot, Rose, who must rescue the last Source of life on the planet, held captive by a rebellious uprising as a political tool to tear down the totalitarian government that oversees them all.
