Design Brief: To design a chair keeping in mind the human factors and ergonomics.

 

Concept: The concept of the chair is a universally designed chair for an adult male, female and 6-10 year old children. 

The seats can be rotated to form back rests which reduces the seat height (popliteal height) as well as the seat depth (popliteal length), making it suitable for all three consumer segments to a large extent. The height of the arm rest is also adjustable according to the three consumer segments.
