To ensure success, Intel's non-volatile memory solutions group developed a print campaign that incentivized retail sales employees involved with Intel's retail edge program to become solid-state drive sales champions. The campaign pivoted around a print advertisement kit attainable by viewing a companion "Caffeinate your PC" web tool. Upon viewing Intel's SSD training material, retail workers earned a 5$ Starbucks gift certificate, collateral advertising Intel's SSD product application for smartphones, and a 16GB USB key populated with the "Caffeinate your PC" web training material. This print campaign was elemental in training Best Buy's sales force to intelligently market Intel solid-state drives in their brick and mortar retail outlets.
