Literacy PSA Campaign

These three posters show books being freed from chains, netting, and rope, as visual representation that "Literacy Liberates".

The purpose of this Literacy PSA (Public Service Announcement) Campaign is encourage people to read. History has shown that people are more easily enslaved if they are illiterate, and therefore as slaves have been disallowed to learn to read.

Mark Twain once said, "The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who can't read." Being able to read should not be the end goal. This literacy campaign is to encourage everyone to learn to read and to continue to read to liberate them intellectually, and in some cases physically.

This image is symbolic of the books breaking the chains, being liberated through literacy.
This image is symbolic of the books severing and unraveling the rope, being liberated through literacy.
