Mini Medic is a brand that combines fun with usability within a range of first aid products that are engaging

and youth oriented.

Developed as my final year project for the Graphic Design degree at AUT, the rationale for this project stemmed from the idea of taking a range of products (in this case, plasters and first aid kits) that currently hold little visual appeal and redesigning them to be more engaging to a younger target market. From this, my graphic design challenge was looking at how to use playful design methods when developing a new range of first aid supplies, aimed specifically at children and family groups. The exploration was to look at new ways to package these supplies, making them more convenient for children and parents while on the go.

Personalised first aid kits designed for durability and ease of travel for parents on the go. The packs can be replenished rather than discarded and the contents are customisable.

Small convenient plaster packs designed for a childs school bag. Each pack contains plasters and wipes to clean and cover minor scrapes and wounds.

Each box contains a collection of differently themed plasters that are fun to wear and come in three useful shapes.

They prove that plasters don't need to be boring to get the job done. The packaging is simple and streamline in construction, making the plasters easier to store and use.
