Carbon Chemistry - Tradeshow Display

This project is a designed response which aims to redefine tradeshow experiences and interactions. The creation of a unique and highly sculptural structure is a deliberate step away from traditional tradeshow equipment; and challenges the orthodoxy of pull-banners, display cases and print material that has almost become synonymous with tradeshow marketing. As a standalone piece, the structure speaks of narratives that reference organic chemistry, life and healthcare. The bright, glossy orange finish – like the MiniFAB logo – references the origins of their business; as innovative Australian thinkers and manufacturers who hail from the warm continent.
If each node in the entire structure is a single cell, then the structure is a flexible and dynamic organism that adapts to suit the needs of a particular situation. The highly modular nature of the design enables the product to be respondent to the needs of MiniFAB staff at any particular time – offering a single solution to the different needs of different trade shows. It doesn’t matter if the MiniFAB site is a corner site, middle of a row – or located in the middle of an open space; the structure and modular system can respond to suit these situations.
