Dinamo Riga
Dinamo Riga is a professional ice-hockey club based in Rīga, Latvia (EU). It is a member of the KHL which is the second largest ice-hockey league in the world after NHL (North-American National Hockey League). Formerly known as Russian Superleague, KHL expanded in 2008 with the plans to include European and Asian clubs. In 2008 Dinamo Riga club was re-founded based on the former Dinamo Riga (1946-1995) to join the newly expanded KHL league.

In 2008 my designs won an open contest for the re-founded club's new visual identity, logo and jersey designs. Although I designed the initial designs, a lot of implementations of the designs as well as further development of the brand has not been my responsibility.

The logo is based on the letter "D" of the original Dinamo Riga (1946-1995) logo.
The lions is a symbol of Rīga and the three stars above is a symbol of Latvia.
