The Future of Ireland
The Future of Ireland project is a research initiative from the media agency OMD Ireland that tries to identify the hopes, aspirations and concerns of Irish people about the future of their country. Supported by Ulster Bank, the project’s intention is to understand and interpret the changes that lie ahead, based on OMD Ireland’s philosophy: ‘Insights, Ideas and Results’. The study for Future of Ireland started with focus groups where people shared their hopes and fears about the future, and finished with a national online survey of 1,000 adults designed to quantify the main themes and ideas emerging from the groups.
