Being a vegetarian since I was sixteen and then eventually vegan, I have found that the vegetarian/vegan options on the typical restaurant’s/cafe's menus limited. I always believed that there was not many specific vegetarian/vegan restaurants and cafes in Brisbane. This lead to researching and documenting vegetarian/vegan friendly places that existed in Brisbane. I was pleasantly surprised. I, personally, found this topic and data useful and something I could relate to, hence other vegetarians and vegans may also find this information design piece useful as well.
All data has been collected from happycow.net, a global vegetarian and vegan database constructed with public reviews on vegetarian, vegan or veg-friendly restaurants, cafes, etc. Each review includes address, star rating, contact details, name, photos (if available), opening hours, other users comments, etc.
