In meiner Familie nennt man diese plötzlich auftretende Melancholie, die man manchmal ohne wirklich fassbaren Grund verspürt, und die einen dann erstmal überall hin verfolgt "das Traurige Tier".

 

"Geht's dir nicht so gut?" - "Ach, ich habe heute bloß das Traurige Tier..."

 

Als ich mit Freunden darüber redete, fiel mir auf, dass dieses Tier für jede Person vollkommen anders aussieht und ich wollte das gerne verbildlichen. Also ließ ich mir von ein paar von meinen Freunden ihr Tier beschreiben und zeichnete es dann so genau wie möglich.

In my family we call suddenly appearing melancholy that sometimes appears without a tangible reason and that then precedes to follow one around for a while the 'Sad Animal'.

 

"You don't feel so well?" - "Oh, I just have the Sad Animal today..."

 

When I talked about this with friends I noticed that everyone imagines their animal very differently from each other, and I wanted to visualize this. I asked some of my friends to describe their Sad Animal to me and drew it as accurately as possible.
