A student project for the Front-End Web Development course by Code Louisville. Requirements were Responsive Web Design, use of a Front-End Framework, and Interactivity using Javascript. Achieved the Responsive design by using Media Queries to adjust the layout by prioritizing content based on screen size. Used the front end framework Bootstrap 3 to aid in the responsiveness and to keep the layout consistent across browsers. Finally, used Javascript and JQuery to create a mobile navigation and simulate booking a vacation package.
Mazani Travel LLC. is a company that provides vacation packages to 6 South American countries. In addition to creating the site, I designed the logo, created a color scheme, and selected the typeface PT Sans for the overall branding. I also created a web advertisement campaign for a promotion for a trip to Brazil and a brochure.
Mazani Travel LLC. is a company that provides vacation packages to 6 South American countries. Examples of some web advertising for a marketing campaign for 15% off a trip to Brazil. Other ways to expand this project is to create a brochure and social media campaign. Since I have a background in Print Design, it is important for brands to also have a web presence as well as a social media presence. So to add the ability to not only create print marketing assets, but also create graphics for social media and design websites is a very great skill for a designer. I also designed the logo in Adobe Illustrator and used Art Direction to come up with the color palette and typography.
