In my studies I fell in love with Processing programming and generative art in general. Most of my time at university i tried to connect my passion of design and music with generative art and programming.
For my Bachelor project, smartphone is being used as tool for performance art. I use smartphone accelerometer´s data to generate image and sound (PureData).
Idea for this project came to me when I was playing a game on my smartphone for fun which was using this sensor. I thought that smartphone could make nice tool in interaction art. We use smartphones daily, but we are not used to use this device in galleries (except taking photos) :)
I added 2 videos. First is test instalation for final exam and seccond is from exhibition Open Air Festival in Hradec Králové where i was invited to introduce myself as artist on that festival. I used my bachelor project and edited it for mouse input.(Coordinates XY) The input data was so different so the sounds are tottally different XYZ.
