While Dreaming of Waterscape:
Attempting to combine my recent photo work with another media, these images proceed a series of painting I created and layered over several photo prints.
Despite the title which suggest a connection to water imagery, these images are only loosely connected to the water imagery I sought when creating the original paintings. Here, the painting is not created with the subject and gestures of the specific photo in mind. In a way, this random paring parallels the random nature of the photos themselves which create a similarly chaotic aesthetic.
