El Salvador Impressive
A country's tourism website is an international airport where digital users land for the first time. It's the first impression and it has to be right. It should not only inspire them through breathtaking photographs and video, it has to encourage the curiosity to discover more.
The Process
To revamp the website design, I needed to understand not only the products or content but the site's main functionality. What should this website inspire? How should people use it? What's the desired behaviour?
Boxing outside the box
Digital users arrive to our site from different devices. Because of this, the website has to be versatile but consistent enough to offer the same experience across devices. I thought the website as a puzzle, with standard pieces we could rearrange depending on the information required. This allows us escalate the site whenever new sections or new content needs to be added.
Designed for touch
Thinking on the mobile experience of our Internet target people, the website navigation is designed for touch screens, both mobile and tables, so users can navigate it with the usual gestures they perform on the devices.
A Visual Experience
We took our guide role seriously, that's why we offer all types of information to help the consideration process. From texts that explain briefly the destination, maps to arrive, visual content and services to contact, the website is an useful tool to help users plan their trip to El Salvador.

More to Discover
The website allows you to find not only places to visit, but activities to expand your impressive experience.
Assistance 24/7
To help them plan their travel, the site allows users to find recommended services so users can plan ther travel without constraints.
