“e.rays – p.rays” is the tirade of One, the Other and the Dialogue between them. A metaphor of union between chaos (Nature as the unknown) and Order (Architecture as form).

e.rays attempts to erase, to wash off the ugly aspects of commercialized architecture, divorced from history and lacking coherence. In an attempt to elevate and draw up a new-found inspiration (love) p.rays attempts to praise the consistency and traditions of crafted work, to shed light on the foregone values of the past.
It is a self-portrait, breaking the present by delving into the past, a symbol to relive the moments again.  It is an attempt to bring back the lost quality in architecture, which is not necessarily complicated or necessarily simple, but lies in the freedom and the presence of feelings.  This work explores the vocabulary of forms, multitude of colors across varied geometries, forms and cultural heritages to underline the mysterious and unconscious connection between the East and the West , the predictable and the unpredictable, and a merge between the crafted and the digital.
It is a critique to the architecture of today made for money not man, by using beauty as a communal force to spread love and unity. An intensely experiential installation creating a space of wonder by letting light cast the rays and shades on the floor and on one’s body, inviting the visitor to partake in the space where the colorfully blended and united shades of the two windows interplay as propelled by the natural force (Rays of light).
This installation of shades and patterns integrate the windows as important elements of architecture, affecting the fabrics of the walls and floors surrounding them in order to give the environment a sense of welcome and unity by the dialectic relationship between the windows, rays, geometry and colors. Its elements are not only to represent the how, what and why (the installation of Persian arches), but the situation and the changes of the environment.  It is an open invitation to the wholeness in universe, a mystic love affair between nature and architecture.
“e.rays – p.rays” is a letter of love to the real oneness that everyone can experience.
