Grrrl Fuckkk is a parallel narrative to recent developments in 4th wave feminism. Taking inspiration from punk and cyberpunk sources such as the Zapatistas, Riot Grrrl, Hactivism and Pussy Riot. Grrrl Fuckkk is a counter movement to the ‘onliness’ of the always on, always connected social media trends of the generation-y. A world saturated by selfies, LOLs, the number of followers you get, and irrelevant figures such as Kim Kardashian. Grrrl Fuckkk aims to empower women to take a stand for what they believe in. Grrrl Fuckkk Encourages the use of social media in a way which highlights social and political issues through causing complete and utter web anarchy, vandalism and hactivism.
