This collection was inspired by Christan Dior's 1947 collection, The New Look. I wanted to capture the movement of fabric, to the details of the squins and embroidery, to the silhouettes. I used sheet wax to best get the flowing look of fabric and casted aqua stones in place to reference the embroidered details of Dior's collection. These pieces were casted in Everdur Bronze and Sterling Silver.
