The God Delusion Screenprint

I was given the task to redesign a thoery book of my choice, i chose The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.
The illustration has many meaning. It's shape is to represent the big bang, the scientific creation story. It also expresses how closely linked all the different religions are, they all derive from the same roots. I also wanted it to look tangles and web like, to link to the metaphor a web of lies. Through out the book Dawkins discusses how religious beliefs and stories are a lot of far-fetched lies and fabrications, and how religion is used to answer the questions science cannot; no matter how untrue they are. “If you don't understand how something works, never mind: just give up and say God did it. You don't know how the nerve impulse works? Good! You don't understand how memories are laid down in the brain? Excellent! Is photosynthesis a bafflingly complex process? Wonderful! Please don't go to work on the problem, just give up, and appeal to God.”
The layout is based of the Golden Ratio grid, which itself is seen as a marvel in nature, often confused to be an act of god, instead of science. The text was kept quite simplistic and if choose to make is gold to mimic the bible, as the book is often described as the bible for atheists.
