The Monster Project invited me to create something for their awesome project again this year! The Monster Project invites artists from all over the world to recreate a kid's drawing in their own style. The final results are presented to the kids who made the original drawings with the intention to let the kids see what their ideas can turn into and therefore what they can accomplish. Such an inspiring project and I am so happy to be a part of it again this year.

The original drawing was so friendly and sweet (and actually not monster-ish at all) that I couldn’t resist creating a cute, smiling monster that only has a little bit of evil inside of her. She might destroy the cars she lifted, but she might also just be playing with them and put them back safely when she’s finished. Who knows…
The background is just an imaginary town that I created to brighten up the illustration, because I am not good with white backgrounds ;)
