In this pohotshoot I wanted to explore elegan, sadness and acceptance. I wanted to show human vulnerability, yet that it cannot define you, and that you can be stronger than that. I created the bruises with a mixture of eyeshadows, body paints and textures edited on using photoshop. I love the final result - it gives a very striking image, and you can feel the emotion through her pose and expression.
