Bachelor Project at Griffith College Dublin.
A rental place with multi-diciplinary studio spaces is renovated into a whiskey distillery in Dublin.

Adress: 27 New Row South
Area: 2463 sq.m
Still pots - Distillation area shows the tall still pots with an explanatory text on the glass wall. Up- and downlights in copper highlights the existing brick wall behind.
Tapas bar - Top floor and end of the whiskey process is the tapas bar where the costumers can enjoy their time in a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
Tapas bar - Lounge area in the tapas bar looking down on the still pots gives the space a nice 3D connection.
Entrance - A floor to ceiling shelving system with accent lighting and whiskey bottles gives the room a glowing first impression for the visitors.
Tasting bar - The tasting bar is delicate and rough with architectural features that reflects the process between raw material and end product with the contrast between the existing beam structure and new ceiling feature.
Model is made out of foam board and is in scale 1:100 of the project building with my proposed design.
