Etching with Watercolor Finishes 2014
This is a twist on the short story Phantoms by Steven Millhauser. The phantoms here in these case studies are not ghosts, but witches, changelings, and peculiar creatures gathering together for a spectacular ritual. However, when shrubs rustle or a porch light turns on they quickly hide and disappear. Their ceremonies are attempted to be kept secret from all human life, but are caught in mid-action and studied. These etchings show the rituals, the departures, and the disappearances of the witches and creatures in sequential order.
