My main concept, while creating washbasins, was to design two objects which would stand in the direct opposition to each other. I wanted to show how one subject can be presented in a variety of ways. How two contradicting forms may at the same time constitute a harmonious whole. Finally, my aim was to combine shapes created by humans and the nature and to utilise them to create household objects. In my project, I oppose the mainstream concepts which focus on geometric washbasins. I wanted to show that it is possible to design an object which would not be in line with the current trend, but would be demanded by a wide audience. Once, trends used to repeat in certain time spells. This process is shortening now. Major trends interacts and are becoming to some extent simultaneous.

While my first washbasin was designed in line with the current bathroom trends, the second was meant to provoke my audience and encourage them to pay attention to subjects which oppose current fashion. My project was created as a whole, however washbasins can be used separately. Both washbasins can be utilised in public space, as well as large and small bathrooms. In particular, geometric washbasin NOOK can be suspended and can function in a variety of ways (wide edges improve comfort of using it and widen the hold area). Nevertheless, the washbasin can be also modified and be used as a countertop washbasin, without loosing its form.
