This project was actually a pretty fun one. The brief for this project was to design an album cover for a Megafauna special issue of a scientific journal.
I wanted to display a rough, yet slick, yet older looking style to the art which is why my color scheme is quite neutral. Also, neutral colors are more professional and I think that a science journal is pretty professional.
Megafauna means large animals. So why wouldn't I incorporate a large mammoth and huge font in my design?
When I read the description for this project, I was flabbergasted. I had no idea what a Megafauna was. To be honest, I was kind of scared of the word. Then I got to googling and figure it out.
