I gained the responsibility of managing the social networks for a popular e-commerce site for books. Followers of our channel had come to expect the client's social channels would share quotes about books. So it fell to me to produce these social image quotes. It was more important that each quote be interesting and shareable than to provide cohesive branding for the company. I had complete artistic freedom in which quotes to select, as well as their presentation. However, we did have budgetary constraints and all these images were produced on a very tight schedule. We had a small library of stock photos that I was working from; and the project manager asked that we use that library rather than purchasing stock photos. I enjoyed the challenge of making our existing stock photos work with potential quotes I found.
