Bicycles were created by man; therefore, its organic and geometric figure can be related to the human physic. In anthropomorphism, human characteristics are attributed to objects and such. I wanted to show this thought in this piece while showing my potential for detail work. The basic style of the piece is inspired by Da Vinci’s sketches. The ghost image of the person layered on the bike is to show the comparison between a bicycle and a person. Just like bones supporting our body, the frame of the bicycle also supports and balances the bike’s weight. Not only our body, but our life can be compared to the bike. The chain is the prime example that connects with life and death. Life itself has been considered a continuous cycle. As long as the chain remains intact and keeps going, the bike continues to move. Unfortunately, life is unpredictable and the chain may fall off or break. This “break” can be thought of as death and a complete halt to one’s lifestyle.

Everyone has their own opinions and consider different views as an outsider's perspective. This drawing portrays that either one of the people in the drawing could be "outside" or "inside". Who is right and who is wrong? As artists, we should make the effort to try to understand other's views. It is our job to help audiences think about different views and concepts.
