Personal Branding 2014

During my time at university I have made it a personal challenge to rebrand myself every year. This is my personal branding from 2014.

When it came to creating personal branding for myself I wanted to combine both of my creative diciplines and loves; graphic design and illustration into one whole brand. I intended to apply the final style to a range of products from business cards and promotional packs to stationary and stickers.
I felt it was important to not just reflect my skills and abilities but to also inject a sense of my personality into the design. I intended to represent this through choice of font, layout, colours and tone of voice. The most important part of the whole project for me was to create something fun that didn't take itself too seriously.
My intention with the personal branding material was to demonstrate a restraint in the mix of flat colour and vector illustration with the off-set placement adding detail to the work. Crisp and considered while unafraid to touch on ‘cuteness’. I intended to interplay ideas and elements that fits with my own opinion of my personality type: confidence, supposed fierceness but with that gentler aspect.
