Created this t-shirt design for one of my relatives who's going on a family trip to Italy. Her last name is "Lustyan," and she thought it would be a fun idea to work with the word "Wanderlust," creating "Wanderlustyan!"
Lately, I've been playing around with a lot of grainy textures and freeform shapes, and this is what I came up with for their shirt. Enjoy!
This was the first design that I came up with, which was inspired by Cinque Terre. Because they are staying in a Tuscan Villa during their stay, they wanted something that had more of the countryside feel. I started over and created the following design:
When researching Tuscan landscapes, I found that it was mostly rolling hills with tall trees, simple houses, and sunflowers! I kept the shapes of the sky the same, but changed up the scenery. So this was the end result that she ended up liking.
