This is a Man&God project I got assigned as an intern at 3nity, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have designed three set of surface for paper structured russian dolls to depict Gods in different contexts. Three sets I designeed was a part in Man&God exhibition in London in October’13.
1. Faceless Dictators: in their time, people worship them as godly leader of their cult.
2. Bloody Set: violent graphic of war to represent how people use God as an excuse to kill each other.

Visual Exploration of Dictator Figure. We make them faceless but they are still recognisible.
To make blood surface, I fold plain form. Then use fake blood for food colour to create blood dripping surface in different state. Then unfold and scan them.
The blood graphic is used with World War II photos to emphasis cruelty of the war and violence against humanity.
