The Leonardo Project
One of a kind Sterling Silver pendants based on designs by Leonardo da Vinci from one of his notebooks, Codex Forster II.
These pendants are only the latest excursion into da Vinci's work for me, and most definitely won't be the last.
The book shown in the photos is a 1:1 facsimile of the original codex, and part of my personal collection.
Construction of the pendants using Sterling Silver PMC (Precious Metal Clay).
As PMC shrinks during firing, the inital pendants were a good 20% larger than the original drawing.
