These knives were made (slowly) over the course of 7 months.

Dagger I: Pattern welded steel (+900 Layers, random pattern, alternating l084 and l5N20)
with mild steel fittings and a walnut handle.
This was my first blade and is still in progress. After having the wooden handle crack and learning more about metalworking, I have decided to make some proper fittings for it. I will update this section when I have time to work on them.

Kitchen Knife I: Pattern welded steel (+900 Layers, random pattern, alternating l084 and l5N20)
I planned on using this knife to prep food. I made a very thin, light blade that would be ideal for slicing rather than chopping and has a long handle to improve the way the blade can be handled.
The pattern on this blade is very dense and hard to see, but these photos show a little bit of it.
Bench Knife I: Pattern welded steel (~13 Layers, random pattern, alternating l084 and l5N20)
This knife was designed primarily as a utility knife for my workbench. I wanted something that could make fine cuts on a variety of materials. The geometry and grind of the blade allow me to cut along a straight edge.
EDC 1: Pattern welded steel (~13 Layers, random pattern, alternating l084 and l5N20)
This knife was designed to be a compact, light every day carry knife. The overall form of the knife was dictated by the ergonomics of my hand, as I knew that I would be the primary user for the knife. This blade fits perfectly in my hand and I wil not be adding scales or any sort of grip to the blade.
I am very pleased with the way that the pattern of the steel carried through the handle, giving it a "pinstripe"
