Carolina Neves's profile

drowned syrian boy.

At this time, almost all the world saw the picture that went viral on the Internet: a dead syrian boy, who had drowned, in the sea shore.
Trying to escape the horror of the Syrian war, this boy, and a great part of the people also doing so, died along the way (in the boy's case: trying to reach the Kos greek island).
Only now Europe's opening it's eyes to see the real conflict happening and the always rising number of syrian refugees fleeing from their country. Still, the European Union leaders haven't gotten their ideas together for a real solution for all those who want to start their lives over, far from their hellish country.
Also, most refugees are being treated as dirt, what's this of trains full of them going to "camps"? And trucks found in the middle of the highway with hundreds of syrians dead inside? And countries not letting them live there for various reasons, including religious ones. And so many, many, many horrible happenings.
There's no time to judge. There's no time for selections. There's no time for emotions. There's only time for actions.
Please do behave as we all should: like a human. Human beings have rights. Being a human being is a right and it should never be denied to anyone. Show support to those in need.

Step by step we can change the world.
I hope my illustration raises a bit more awareness.
