read+play: An Introduction to Typography
The book read+play is not only an introduction to typography, but a navigator through the knowledge of typography. In a wide sense, it can be seen as an encyclopedia of books, which supports students of the first semesters and graphic design beginners by creating the connection between evolutionary and political aspects, style development and the position of typography in art. The original r+p was written by Prof. Ulysses Voelker in 2011 and revised in 2014.
