Every year, a book is created for the graduating batch in the Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. A team comes together to figure out various themes, layouts and forms the book will contain. Individually, each member had to come up with visual styles and layouts that were taken forward and voted on till the final book was formed.

 

Towards the later stages in the project, I became part of the illustration team that created geometric illustrations for each graduating student. It was important to keep in mind colours, style and to make sure that the illustrations complimented the general visual language of the book as a whole. 

As a group, we had decided to divide the magazine into three parts as per the theme. Based on the kind of projcet worked on by each student, they were placed into one of the three. Each theme was to have their own colour scheme which was decided on by the Illustration team.
