Automat is a proposed redesign of the restaurant located within the Boston Public Library. This automat style restaurant provides fresh hot food to customers in a vending machine style of service. The restaurant and supporting materials are based off the style of the early 1900s, which was the onset of the automat style of restaurant. Automat is meant to feel like an extension of the library, encouraging customers to bring in their library books to read in a comfortable home library atmosphere while they eat.
Signage with only logo, intended for use as main entry signage.
