Cascade Brewery Co. approached us to refresh their range of craft beers.
The refresh was to explore every facet of the brand's communication, from the bottle up, including: labeling, outer packaging and above the line communications.
A major component of the refresh was designing a new bottle to house Cacsade's beers on shelf. We developed an emboss that replaced the traditional neck label and paid tribute to the brands historic packaging.
The design was inspired by the Cascade Brewery building, standing tall in Hobart Tasmania since 1824. A true landmark in the area and home of Cascade's Pale Ale, Australia's oldest continuously brewed beer. Each label was then imbued with its own personality through use of colours inspired by the different seasons' light and it's effects on the surrounding foothills, as well as customised typography.
