This portrait of the singer Sia Furler was done in response to a college assignment. In this portrait, I have shown Maddie Ziegler (the young dancer who is seen performing in Sia's videos such as Chandelier and Elastic Heart) with her face facing forward, and Sia with her back facing towards us. Sia is known for performing with her back turned towards the audience, in an effort to display that she does not enjoy her newfound fame and the attention that it brings.
