Copperwood was created as a premium wine brand exclusively for Aldi. The fusion of natural elements was the inspiration for the design. The copperwood tree (prevalent in coastal areas in the Americas) and the warmth of copper-based colors drove the natural theme of the brand.
Designer Aaron Woolsey forged the wood stump and vintage western cues into this package design.
Label details:
4 color job + 4 additional treatments (foil, emboss, screen highbuild/tactile varnish, matte coating). The challenging part of this label is to have a consistent lay down of the foil and tactile varnish on the very textured stock (classic felt).
