how i work: first step: research. i think it's important to sketch out as many ideas that come to mind, sort of like free thinking. sometimes, there will be an unexpected idea that works. also getting to know the competition is just as important. my process is: 1. research and sketch 2. send sketches to client for review. 3. discuss and pick top 3 directions. 4. push out in computer form with fonts in mind. 5. pick final (still presenting in black ink only). 6. colorways. 7. done! i feel this process has been successful in communicating for both both client and designer.
case study #1:  family dance jam is an inter-generational free dance and movement workshop for families. Part open play, part directed experience, families move in a playful environment across the dance floor, making deeper connections with each other as a family
