Catslugs was a joint endeavour by me and video editor Ben Dauré. The challenge was to create a weekly animated cartoon series that challenged our storytelling skills as well as our individual artistic abilities. Each episode was written jointly, with concepts generally materialising out of nowhere and expanding as we found more and more ways to twist our nonsense-addled brains.
All of the animation solids were drawn by me, and were then animated and set to the audio by Ben. Voice acting was for the most part also done by ourselves.
Catslugs ran for 12 episodes over 12 weeks, including a Halloween special and a Christmas special.
