Ripple is a low table taking place in a living room or a bedroom, as a bedside table for example. The fabrication requires the gluing of different parts of 16 mm thick plywood (class E1) by dint of its durability and aesthetical aspect. Those pieces are cut thanks to a digital tool such as a numerical control machine. This system allows to vary easily the shapes and to form a cone acting as a sound amplifier.
A slot is located on the top of the table and can welcome mobile phones or tablets in order to increase the volume of the sound (music, movie, etc.) due to the conical shape just situated below, like a speaker.
The bottom of this cone is provided with a variable intensity light: the dimmer is located on top of the table, next to two USB ports, allowing the battery charging of any kind of digital objects.
